Dear Resident We are aware of a recent spike in incidents where vehicle door handles are being tried in the local area. These incidents are opportunistic in nature, and enquiries are ongoing by the police to identify those responsible. We would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to remove all valuables from their vehicles, including loose change, bags, tools, and electronic devices. Please also ensure that your vehicle is fully locked whenever it is left unattended, even if only for a short period of time, and consider checking it again once you have walked away.
Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious behaviour, particularly during the evening and overnight hours. If you see or hear anything that causes concern, please contact the police on 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress or there is an immediate risk to persons or property.
Your continued support and cooperation are appreciated and play an important role in helping to keep our community safe.
